"Tastes like Chicken"

so now that it's a week later the glamor may be dissipating but nevertheless I said I'd blog about gator and here it is!



By the way, there's a Pappadeaux in the phoenix valley, just in case anyone else wanted to try it also. anyway, here we are in Dallas, about to go in


the appetizers on the menu...



so for those of you wondering, alligator does NOT taste like chicken, and neither do frog legs! here's a pic...





it really doesn't taste chicken. it's actually A LOT BETTER! (serious, the guy on Transformers knew what he was talking about! // ok random I know)

they put a lot of creole seasoning on it (Tony's ?) anyway, it was dang tasty!

however as for the frog legs.... they did taste like chicken... tiny chicken. that had been soaking in water for weeks. : P
